A host of new car reveals are expected at the event open to the public on September 14
It’s fast approaching one of the motoring events of the year, as the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017 gets set for its grand opening this September, with a host of new car reveals waiting to be shown to the press and members of the public.
The doors to the 67th IAA International Motor Show open to press members on September 12, whilst the public have to sit tight and wait a further two days before they get to view this year’s exciting new cars.
Excitement is already building in anticipation of this huge event on the motoring calendar, with a myriad of manufacturers announcing in advance what new models they will displaying for all to see on this year’s stands.
Time’s fast approaching for the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017
So far, we know that Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Renault and Volkswagen will be at the event but there will no doubt be a couple of surprises in store too, as these popular motoring events usually hold a little something extra back rather than revealing all before the date.
The Frankfurt Motor Show, which takes place every two years, is mainly dominated by German car manufacturers, with this year being no exception.
There’s going to be a number of no-shows at this year’s event however, as Ford, Peugeot and Nissan won’t be taking part and neither will the FCA Group – meaning no Chrysler, Fiat or Jeep at this year’s big event. Nissan are launching their all new electric Leaf at another event to be held in September.
And despite no-shows from a number of carmaker’s, the event is still going to be a fantastic couple of days in which those appearing get to showcase their new cars to the world.
The IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2017 kicks off on September 12 for access to the press and opens to the public on September 14.
Here’s just a few of the new car launches to be held at this year’s event: Audi A8, BMW M5, Hyundai i30 N, Jaguar E-Pace, Kia Stonic, plus an all new Volkswagen Polo.
