How Do Rolling 28 Day Contracts Work At FLEXED?
If you’re considering leasing your next car or van but unsure what short term leasing is and how it works, our simple explanation will provide you with all the information you need to know.
What Is Short Term Leasing?
Basically, short term leasing is a short to mid-term based finance solution that allows you to lease a car or van or a fleet of vehicles from Flexed, whereby the contract only lasts for 28 days and rolls on for as long as you the customer wants it to.
Once your 28 days have finished, you can simply return the car or van, lease for longer or swap to another model or make and the best thing about it, is that no additional charges are due for payment when you swap, plus you can do this as many times as you like!
Therefore, your 28 day contract is a rolling contract which means you can keep on leasing for as long as you want without being tied into anything long term.
So if your circumstances change unexpectedly, there’s no need to worry about whether you can afford to keep on leasing, as with our flexible leasing contracts you can simply change the length of lease without obligation at any time.
When you’re tied into a long term contract and something in your life happens unexpectedly leaving you unable to keep up with the monthly payments on your lease car, there are charges to pay for ending your lease agreement early (if they let you), but with short term leasing, you simply lease the car or van of your choice for a minimum of 28 days and after which, YOU get to decide what happens next!
What Are The Benefits Of Short Term Leasing?
It might be that you’re stuck in limbo deciding what kind of car or van you want to drive, or your business is looking to lease for a short period of time whilst new members of staff are on a probationary period but need to be out on the road – whatever the reason for choosing short term leasing, our flexible short term lease contracts enable you to lease a car or van for however long your new probationary workers might be with you or until you decide on a permanent vehicle solution.
At Flexed, we have a huge variety of makes and models to choose from – so, if your company needs to lease a small car for a month in the city but the next two months a bigger car such as the Range Rover Sport is required for off-road work, you can with short term leasing swap and change vehicles to fit in with your needs as you’re not tied into a long term contract.
All of our cars and vans are less than 12 months old, with 85% being less than 6 months old. We change our fleet roughy every six months so that our customers always have the latest models to choose from.
Our short term lease contracts allow you the customer to be the one in full control of your leasing journey – once your 28 days is complete, you simply decide whether to return the vehicle, lease the same car or van for longer or you can switch to a different type of vehicle and there’s no additional charges to pay!
Our short term leasing contracts are suitable for both Business and Personal customers who need a car or van on a short term basis. Our flexible service lets you the customer increase or decrease the length of your lease at any time once you’ve completed your minimum 28 days.
We also offer long term rentals from 3 months, 6 or 12 months, however this is only available on select vehicles – please call 0800 311 8290 to find out more.
