About the BMW iX1

The BMW iX1 is the all-electric alternative of the revered BMW X1 and features the latest battery technology achieving 270 miles range on a single charge. It’s the perfect option for families, or company car drivers alike who are looking for a greener alternative to the standard petrol or diesel variants.

Starting with its exterior, the iX1 draws its design inspiration from the rest of the BMW fleet with its iconic grille and swooping bodyline. Inside, it’s a similar story as the infotainment system, seats, and down to the final finishes are to the same high-quality standard BMW is renowned for and gives that sense of familiarity when you step into the cabin.

In terms of the practicality itself, the iX1 is a great all-rounder as it’s high up, features plenty of space for up to five adults, and has a reasonably large boot size despite being a full EV. Its 490-litre boot capacity will easily accommodate several pieces of large suitcases with the seats being able to fold flat should you need extra space on those random occasions.

As for charging solutions, the BMW iX1 can offer convenient charging at home with speeds of up to 3.7kW. On public fast chargers, the BMW will reach 80% of the range in just 29 minutes at a charging speed of 127kW.
