Based on the Mercedes-Benz GLA platform, the EQA is the all-electric version of this popular crossover SUV, sporting both four-wheel drive and 268 miles of range. Available to order through Flexed short-term leasing, with contracts starting from 28 days onwards and the option to include insurance as part of the rental.

Starting with its design, the EQA embodies refinement with its subtle body styling, flared arches, heightened suspension, and quality material lavished throughout its cabin. ‘AMG Line’ models and above benefit from cosmetic upgrades such as ‘AMG’ 18-inch alloy wheels, ‘AMG’ body styling and ‘AMG’ sports seats finished in ARTICO leather and MICROCUT microfibre upholstery.

In terms of its onboard technology, the EQA comes standard with essential features such as satellite navigation, reversing parking camera, digital radio, keyless entry, and Mercedes’ MBUX multimedia system featuring two HD 10-inch displays with a touchpad. It also has smartphone integration which is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay allowing use of your favourite smartphone applications displayed on the centre screen.

The EQA’s drivetrain features two electric motors mounted on each axle resulting in an output of 228hp and all-wheel drive. Its instantaneous ability to deliver power to all four of wheels means it’s punchy on the roads, reaching 62 MPH in just 8.9 seconds!

When it comes to charging, the EQA will reach 80% from 10% on a 150kW fast charger within 30 minutes. On a standard 7kW home wall box, the total charging time can be up to 10 hours.

Aside from its green technology, and sporty look the EQA also makes a fantastic option for families or company car drivers. Its cabin is more than adequate for 5 adult passengers and its 340-litre boot will accommodate several pieces of medium-sized luggage with absolute ease.
