The Skoda CitiJet concept will make its debut at the Volkswagen Wothersee festival later this month.
The event, which will take place between 28 and 31 May, marks the first time the 74bhp 1.0-litre convertible will be unveiled publicly.
Designed by Skoda apprentices, the new concept is a sporty conversion of the CitiGo and can reach 60mph in 13.9 seconds with a top speed of 106mph.
The sketch released by Skoda (above) shows the concept model sporting a blue metallic finish, with the car set to have 16-inch alloy wheels.
A spoiler and dual exhausts add to the concepts sporty design and the cabin will include red and white accents on the dashboard, part-leather trim, bespoke floor mats, a 300-watt sound system and an LED lighting system which responds to music.
Skoda’s team of 16 apprentices have been working on the concept since November.
