New Skoda Superb; set for release in 2015
Details have emerged of the new Skoda Superb; set for release in 2015.
The Superb has already built a reputation for being an excellent family car, with a spacious cabin, great fuel economy and refined drive.
The 2015 Superb look set to build on these core points but drivers can expect a car which looks significantly different to its predecessor, with the car expected to take design cues from the Skoda Vision C Concept.
One of the most highly-touted developments expected to be showcased by the new Superb is an even bigger cabin. However, rather than increasing the length of the car, this is set to be achieved by stretching the wheelbase and slightly increasing the width of the car.
Drivers can expect the new Superb to offer a choice of engines; a 1.4 litre petrol engine, 1.6 litre diesel engine and 2.0 litre diesel engine. Manual and automatic gearboxes will be available across the range, while higher-powered models will be available in all-wheel drive as opposed to front-wheel drive.
The 1.6 litre diesel is expected to provide drivers with a emissions of just 100g/km, offering them a tax-exempt option.
The Skoda Superb is expected to be released before the end of 2015,, although an official release date is yet to be confirmed.
