New internet car purchasing scheme to be launched by Hyundai

‘Click to Buy’ will be available from 2017 and will allow customers to purchase a car via their website

From 2017, if you want to buy a brand new Hyundai you’ll be able to do so from the comfort of your own home, without having to take the usual trip to the car showroom.

By using Hyundai’s new ‘Click to Buy’ internet car buying service, customers from next year will be able to browse and then buy a brand new car directly from the Hyundai website.

No more family days out over the weekend traipsing round numerous car dealerships trying to find the best deal – from 2017 you’ll be able to purchase your brand new car using only your fingertips!

According to Hyundai, by using the new internet car purchasing scheme, customers can buy a brand new car in a matter of minutes rather than hours doing it the old fashioned showroom way.

The manufacturer has assured those who use the new Click to Buy service that all car prices will be fixed. Hyundai also promise that the online scheme doesn’t mean prices won’t be competitive and as good as the price you’d be quoted if you visited a dealership.

Once you’ve purchased your brand new car online, it will be delivered to your local dealer ready for you to collect, or you can pay extra and have it delivered to you at home, so you can complete the whole process without ever having to take a trip to the showroom.

However, the scheme is only good for those purchasing a brand new car with cash. If you’re buying through finance, you’ll still have to go the old fashioned route with a visit to a car dealership.

For those wanting to part-exchange as well as buying a brand new car online, the Click to Buy service does provide the customer with a quote for your old vehicle and if you purchase using cash, your old car gets collected for you. If purchasing through finance however, you’ll have to take your old car to the dealership.

Hyundai will launch their Click to Buy internet car buying scheme on January 6, 2017. A range of models will be available to buy via the scheme including the i10, i20, i30, Santa Fe and the Tucson, with more being added throughout the year.
