Morrisons tempt shoppers in by cutting fuel prices by 10p a litre
Spend £50 in store to receive a voucher for discounted fuel at Morrison’s petrol stations
The fight for your Christmas pound has begun, with Morrisons offering 10p per litre off fuel for customers who spend £50 or more in store.
It’s Black Friday week, so offers on everything from clothing to electrical’s is upon us and thanks to Morrisons, shoppers and motorists can do their weekly shop, fill up and save money in the process.
To qualify for the discount you will have to spend £50 or more in store. A voucher will be given to you to redeem at any of the supermarket’s petrol stations.
By cutting 10p off a litre of fuel, this should equate to a £5 saving for those who fill up on a Morrison’s forecourt and the offer is available for the purchase of both petrol and diesel.
The offer has already begun and runs until Sunday 26 November as part of their ‘Black Five Days’ campaign. Any vouchers received must be used at any of Morrisons petrol stations by Sunday 3 December 2017.
Fuel prices this year have reached a three-year high – the average price for one litre of unleaded crept up to 120.19p, whilst a litre of diesel reached 122.59p.
The Autumn Budget is also expected to bring a further increase for drivers of diesel cars, as Philip Hammond is thought to be seeking ways in which they and possible new buyers can be led away from choosing a diesel car by increasing the price of diesel by 1p a litre.
