Top of the list for car makers in the July 2016 UK Customer Satisfaction Index survey
In this year’s July UKCSI (UK Customer Satisfaction Index) survey, Land Rover have taken the top car makers spot.
They finished third overall in the survey, with Amazon and Wilko taking the top two places and Land Rover tied in third place with Marks & Spencer and Waitrose. Car maker’s Kia, took the next best automotive place, finishing seventeenth in the survey.
Compared to last year’s survey, Land Rover was one of the most improved big names, with a 5.5-point customer satisfaction increase.
Car maker Suzuki, however, were the biggest automotive winners in this year’s survey, with a staggering 9.1-point growth in customer satisfaction. Theirs was the biggest overall brand increase in the new July 2016 survey.
Aftersales director for Suzuki, Denis Houston, spoke after the results were announced, about their performance in this year’s survey: “We are delighted with the results shown, and this clearly reflects our ongoing investment and the great lengths that Suzuki goes to in order to ensure that every motorist receives the very highest level of service.”
Mr Houston also went on to say how pleased the company were with the efforts of their dealer network and how they will continue to strive towards even better scores in 2017.
The company also stated that a lot of its success was down to a new service scheme, which was designed to improve aftersales customer service.
Land Rover also made a comment after receiving the good news. Managing Director for Jaguar Land Rover UK, Jeremy Hicks said how delighted they were with the result and how the company will continue to strive to provide an excellent product and ownership experience for all of its customers.
