The process involved when leasing a car or van is much easier than most people think. Of course, there’s the usual forms to fill in and credit checks that need to be done but once these have been dealt with, the rest is quick, straightforward and not as painful as you might have imagined.
To help you understand a little more about how the whole leasing process works at Flexed, we’ve broken it down below into a simple guide so you’ll know exactly what to expect when you lease a brand new car or van with us.
Choosing The Right Vehicle
Of the whole leasing process, this is generally the easiest part of all and for many customers the most exciting bit. We have such a wide range of cars and vans to choose from at Flexed – so many in fact that choosing the right one for you could be tricky, however our team of experts are always on hand to help and advise you on the right vehicle to suit your individual requirements and budget.
We have a variety of make’s and models to choose from which vary in style as well as price and if you can’t see the exact model you’d like to drive, please talk to us and we’ll do everything we can to help – talk@flexed.co.uk
You can even take a look at what’s available in the ‘Offer’ section on our website, as there’s plenty of hot deals to take advantage of.
Once that all important decision has been made as to which car or van you would like to lease, you can simply fill in our Quick Quote form and one of our team will respond within the hour or you can call us on 0800 311 8290 for an immediate quote and to discuss whether you wish to lease the vehicle for personal use or through your business.
Finance Checks
After the acceptance of your initial order, we will request our customers fill out a finance application form so that a credit check can be carried out. This is done so that we can ascertain as to whether you’re eligible for finance.
Most finance providers are looking for a good to excellent credit score in order to be accepted. This part of the process is necessary for both Personal Contract Hire (PCH) and Business Contract Hire (BCH) agreements, however different types of information and proof may be required if you’re looking to lease through your company.
Once the finance application has been completed it will be sent off by ourselves on your behalf to the relevant finance provider. As soon as a decision has been made ( may take one to three days), you’ll be contacted by one of our team either by telephone or email and if approved, your order accepted on your brand new lease car or van and the next stage of the process begins.
The Final Stage
At Flexed, no deposit is taken at point of order, however an initial payment will be required on a 6 or 12 month lease agreement.
You will be notified as to when your lease car or van is expected to arrive with us. The finance papers will be sent to you which will need signing and returning to us.
Once these have been received by us, we will let you know and depending on your finance provider and the length of lease term you have applied for, a 14 day statutory cooling off period might be offered to you – these are 14 business days in which you can cancel your lease agreement if you so wish and personal customers will be given a full refund.
A member of our administration team will contact you when your lease car or van is ready to be delivered to you, on a day and at a time that is convenient for you.
A vehicle acceptance note will need to be signed by yourself upon delivery of your brand new lease car or van.
When you lease a car or van with Flexed, our 28 day price includes UK road tax, manufacturer warranty, vehicle maintenance and breakdown cover – all that’s left for you to think about is filling up the tank and you’re ready for off!
