New BMW X6 is set for release December 2014

BMW has revealed that its new X6 will hit the market in December following its debut at the Paris Motor Show.
Changes to the new model’s appearance will include headlights which flow directly into the front grille and air curtains positioned at either side of the front bumper. Air breathers will also be introduced into the cars side panels to reduce drag.

Inside the cabin, drivers can expect a more practical experience, with rear seats folding down to create 1,525 litres of space – that’s a 75 litre increase on the current model.
New trim will also be available, with drivers able to invest in a Design Pure Extravagance option both for the interior and exterior of the car. Internally, this trim will see the introduction of extended leather and a key featuring chrome buttons. Externally, those who choose the Design Pure Extravagance option can expect stainless steel underbody guards, bespoke 20-inch alloys, mirror caps and aluminium window surrounds.
Under the bonnet, the new X6 will initially offer drivers a choice of two diesel engines, the 30d and M50d, with a 50i also available. A 35i and 40d are expected to arrive in the spring of 2015.
