No matter what age you are, every one of our customers must be credit checked to ensure they are eligible for vehicle finance and show us that they can afford to take on a lease contract and keep up with the monthly payments.
If you have concerns about your credit rating because you’re young and haven’t yet been able to build up a good enough credit history, don’t be disheartened, as we’ll consider every option to get you through the process. In some instances, we may ask for a refundable security amount to sit on your account which will be refunded back to you in full at the end of the lease contract – as long as no outstanding charges occur during the lease!
Here at Flexed, we have our own in-house finance department who deals with every lease application, so if you are worried about your credit rating, ‘good credit’ isn’t a necessity with us. We look at each application individually and will consider every option to get you through the process successfully.
Because you’re entering into a legal contract between yourself and the registered vehicle keeper (the lease company), it’s important that we conduct an affordability check to determine whether short term leasing is right for you.
Checks are carried out to verify your identity and address, as well as taking into account your income & expenditure. A decision is normally made within 24 hours of submission (weekdays).
Once you’ve been approved for vehicle leasing, an account will be opened up for you and you’re then ready to choose the lease car you want to drive.
