To apply for short term car leasing with Flexed, you must be aged 18 years or over and hold a full valid UK driving licence. There’s no upper age limit either with vehicle leasing, so whether you’re a young 21 year-old or a retired 71 year-old looking to lease a new car, you can open an account with us and lease for as long as you want.
Every one of our customers is required to enter a credit check to ensure they are eligible for vehicle leasing and must be able to prove that they can afford to take on a lease contract and keep up with the monthly payments.

If you’re worried about your credit rating because of your age and haven’t as yet been able to build up a good enough credit history, we will consider every option to get you through the process. In some instances, we may ask for a refundable security amount to sit on your account which will be refunded back to you in full at the end of the lease contract – providing no outstanding charges occur during the lease.

We have our own in-house finance department who deals with every application, so if yours happens to fall into a ‘grey area’, don’t worry as we look at each application individually.
Because you’re entering into a legal contract between yourself and the registered vehicle keeper (the lease company), it’s vital that we conduct an affordability check to determine whether short term leasing is right for you.
Checks are carried out to verify your identity and address, as well as taking into account your income and expenditure. A decision is normally made within 24 hours of submission (weekdays).
Once you’ve been approved for vehicle leasing, an account will be opened up for you and you’re then ready to choose the lease car you want to drive.
